Additional Culture Details

At USTA Pacific Northwest, we believe tennis is more than a sport — it’s a pathway to lifelong wellness, leadership, and community connection. In 2024, we were honored to be recognized as a Top Workplace by The Oregonian — a distinction made even more meaningful because it was based on authentic feedback from our team.

“This recognition was especially meaningful because it came directly from our employees,” said CEO and Executive Director Matthew Warren at the time. “It reflected the strong, supportive culture we've built together and our shared commitment to making a positive impact across the Pacific Northwest.”

COO China Kirk shared, "That award reflected how deeply connected our employees are to our mission — to inspire healthier people and communities with equitable access for all. Each of our team members plays a vital role in fostering a workplace where purpose, passion and play come together.”

We’re proud of the culture we’ve created, and we continue to build on that foundation every day — with heart, hustle, and a belief in the power of tennis to transform lives.
