Purpose
Founded in 1933, the AAOS is the preeminent provider of musculoskeletal education to orthopaedic surgeons and others in the world. Its continuing medical education activities include a world-renowned Annual Meeting, multiple continuing medical education (CME) courses held around the country and at the Orthopaedic Learning Center (OLC), and various medical and scientific publications and electronic media materials.

Additionally, AAOS offers generous paid time off annually to all employees to support their work/life balance – including 4 weeks of vacation, 14 paid company holidays including time off between Christmas Eve and New Year’s Day, 2 weeks of sick time and 2 floating holidays. We also offer 12 weeks of variable pay for maternity leave and medical leave and 2 weeks of paid parental leave for all new parents, regardless of gender identity, and for births, adoptions, and foster arrangements.
We offer rich tuition reimbursement up to $40,000 per staff member, as well as additional professional development benefits for non-degree seeking opportunities.
