Chicanos Por La Causa (CPLC) was founded in the late 1960s by a group of student activists fighting for equal education opportunities at Phoenix Union High School. Today, CPLC provides services to people of all backgrounds, facilitating growth through five Areas of Impact: Health & Human Services, Housing, Education, Economic Development and Advocacy. With offices in Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas, California, and Colorado we impact 1 million lives every year.

CPLC began with a group of student and community activists who pushed back against racial discrimination.
Today, we are one of the largest Latino nonprofits in the country, providing services to people of all backgrounds while honoring our Mexican American roots.
