Embers was founded in 1953 and has a rich history of growth. Through two successful mergers, Embers built a vibrant company culture centered around our commitment to service and community. We proudly serve the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and the bordering Wisconsin counties of Iron, Vilas, Florence, and Marinette.
Purpose
Our role is to equip members and staff with financial knowledge, inspiration, and support so that they can Live it UP and make the most out of the place they call home. Around here, we're not just a financial institution crunching numbers and counting coins; we're kindling relationships, fueling dreams, and blazing trails of trust and innovation.

Our Embers vision is to create a people-inspired credit union that is recognized for being a trusted financial partner, passionate about our communities, for always doing the right thing, and for having fun while doing it.
