The Haverkamp Group is a collection of companies focused on multifamily development, acquisitions, design, construction management and property management. The company (formerly known as Insite Development) is the parent company to Haverkamp Properties, Haverkamp Construction, Haverkamp Farm Management, Practic Design and Outdoor Escapes.
In 2000, The Haverkamp Group began building properties in Ames, IA, and has since grown to own/manage over 4,500 units across Ames, the greater Des Moines area and Eastern Iowa. Building over 2,000 apartment units in Central Iowa, Haverkamp Group started out in student housing properties and has since moved into the conventional market-rate and age-restricted (55+) active living product types as well. While multifamily construction continues to be the focus of our company, we have also built several other commercial and residential projects including small retail multi-tenant buildings, vehicle repair shops, and convenience stores.
