Saint Therese
Minnesota-based Saint Therese was founded in 1964 and prides itself on its rich tradition of providing exceptional care for seniors. It has locations and services in Brooklyn Park, Woodbury, Corcoran, Shoreview (all Minnesota), IHM Senior Living Community in Monroe, Mich., St. Mary of the Woods in Avon, Ohio, and The Belvedere in Westlake, Ohio. Most communities provide the full continuum of care from independent living, assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing and transitional care. Saint Therese at St. Odilia in Shoreview specializes in hospice and palliative care. Ascend Rehabilitation provides rehabilitation therapy, health and wellness services. Saint Therese is a nonprofit, 501©(3) senior care organization.

Where Every Heart Matters
Saint Therese began with a simple wish. In the early 1960’s a devoted son wanted his mom to experience a home where she was cared for in her mind, body and especially her soul. He found that much of the care she received met her physical needs, but he wanted more. He wanted his mom to be nearby in a place filled with warmth and grounded by their Catholic faith. He found three other individuals that shared his vision, and Saint Therese was born – a faith-based, people-first senior living organization that offers warmth and community within the continuum of care.
From 2006 - 2016, Saint Therese entered a period of growth in Minnesota, adding locations in Brooklyn Park, Shoreview, and Woodbury. Our expansion reached out to the Upper Midwest from 2023 to the present with the acquisition of IHM Senior Living Community in Monroe, Mich., the opening of Saint Therese of Corcoran in Minnesota and the acquisition of St. Mary of the Woods in Avon, Ohio. Today, our senior living communities provide a continuum of care designed to empower residents to live as they choose – whether choosing independent living, assisted living, memory care or skilled nursing support.
But we are not done innovating and growing. We are committed to wellness by developing programs that incorporate all seven dimensions of wellness so residents can realize their own wellbeing and flourish. We will dramatically enhance our employee and resident experiences
