From our headquarters and distribution center in Slinger, we supply a full line of building materials to homeowners and professional builders. Since 1953, we’ve been family-owned and operated, taking pride in our tradition of providing high- quality building materials and services to our customers. We do the common, uncommonly well.
Purpose
Founded in 1953 as Allenton Lumber and Fuel with just five employees, Zuern Building Products has grown—through the dedication of more than 300 team members—into one of Wisconsin’s largest independent, family‑owned and operated lumber and building material suppliers.
Our main distribution center and corporate headquarters are located in Slinger, Wisconsin. We operate five full‑service lumberyards with showrooms in Allenton, Cedarburg, Cross Plains, Franklin, and Watertown, along with showrooms in Appleton, Delafield, and Madison. We also have a combined showroom and manufacturing facility in Menomonee Falls, allowing us to efficiently serve customers across the state.

While we’ve grown over the years, we remain focused on quality products, dependable service, and strong relationships. Guided by our motto, “Do the Common, Uncommonly Well”, our team offers everything from traditional lumber, millwork, windows, doors, and cabinetry to kitchen and bath design—helping make every project easier from start to finish.
